Free Minesweeper
Minesweeper is the classic mine-finding puzzle with Beginner (9×9), Intermediate (16×16), Expert (30×16) and custom boards. The first click is always safe, No-guess mode deals boards that a solver clears by logic alone, and the Hint button explains the next deduction in words. Quick answers
What does no-guess mode mean?
Every board is checked by a solver before you play: it can be cleared from the first click by logic alone, so you never have to gamble on a 50/50.
How does chording work?
When a number already has as many flags around it as its value, click it (or middle-click it) to open all its other hidden neighbours at once. A wrong flag will make you hit a mine, so be sure first.

How to use the Minesweeper
- Pick Beginner, Intermediate, Expert or a custom size, and Classic or No-guess mode.
- Click (or tap) a cell to open it; the first click is always safe. Numbers tell how many mines touch that cell.
- Right-click, long-press or switch on Flag mode to flag a mine. Click a number whose flags are all placed to open its other neighbours (chording).
- Stuck? Press Hint: it highlights a cell that is provably safe (or a mine) and explains why.
- Play the daily board and copy your result to compare with friends.

Frequently asked questions
Can I play with the keyboard?
Yes. Focus the board, move with the arrow keys, press Space or Enter to open, F to flag and H for a hint.
Are hints counted?
Hints are free, but a game where you used one does not count for your best time. In the daily board the number of hints is shown in your shared result.
Is my best time saved?
Yes, best times for Beginner, Intermediate and Expert (separately for Classic and No-guess) and your daily results are stored in this browser only.
