Free Gerber Viewer
Gerber Viewer renders Gerber RS-274X and Excellon drill files, loose or in a ZIP, as realistic top and bottom views of your PCB. Pick the solder mask color and surface finish, inspect each layer in its own color, measure in millimetres, read the board size and drill table, and export SVG, PNG up to 2400 DPI or a ZIP.

Quick answers
Are my Gerber files uploaded?
No. The ZIP is unpacked and the board is rendered in your browser; nothing is sent to a server.
Which files are supported?
Gerber RS-274X (including X2 attributes) and Excellon NC drill files, as exported by KiCad, Eagle, Altium, EasyEDA, DipTrace and others, either loose or in a ZIP.

How to use the Gerber Viewer
- Drop the ZIP your CAD tool or PCB maker gives you, or select the Gerber and drill files together.
- Check the detected layer types and fix any that were not recognized.
- Look at the top and bottom renders with your mask color and finish, or switch to Layers to inspect each one in its own color.
- Measure features, read the board size and the drill table, and export SVG or PNG images.

Frequently asked questions
A layer was detected wrongly. Can I fix it?
Yes. Every file has a type selector: choose the right layer (for example Top silkscreen or Board outline) or Ignore for files that are not Gerbers.
How is the drill table built?
The Excellon files are read directly: each tool's diameter, number of holes and slots, and whether the file holds plated or non-plated holes, which you can change if the file doesn't say.
Can I export images of my PCB?
Yes: the current view as SVG or as a PNG at up to 2400 DPI, or a ZIP with the top and bottom renders plus one SVG per layer.
