Free DXF Viewer
DXF Viewer opens DXF drawings so you can pan, zoom, toggle layers and measure distances and angles that snap to end points and centres. It lists the version, units, extents and entities of the drawing, and exports the visible layers to SVG, to PDF at real size or fitted to paper, or to PNG at 72 to 1200 DPI.

Quick answers
Is my drawing uploaded?
No. The DXF file is opened, rendered and converted in your browser; nothing is sent to a server.
Can I open DWG files?
Not directly. Save or export the drawing as DXF from your CAD program (or a free DWG converter) and open the DXF here.

- Drag to pan and scroll to zoom; switch layers on and off in the Layers panel.
- Choose Distance or Angle and click points on the drawing to measure; points snap to end points and centres.
- Read the drawing info, then export the visible layers to SVG, PDF (real size or fitted to paper) or PNG at the DPI you need.

Frequently asked questions
How do I convert DXF to PDF at the right scale?
Choose Real size in the PDF options: when the file states its units (millimetres, inches…), the PDF is drawn 1:1 so it prints at true size. For unitless files, pick the drawing units first.
Why are some texts or hatches missing?
The viewer supports the common entities (lines, polylines, arcs, circles, ellipses, splines, text, blocks, dimensions). Hatch fills, some dimension styles and rarely used entities may be simplified or skipped.
Can I export only some layers?
Yes. Hide the layers you don't need: the SVG, PDF and PNG exports include only the visible ones.
